Easy blender hollandaise: creamy, flavourful, and zingy. Perfect for a classic breakfast dish.
6 Eggs
4 English Muffins
4 Slices of Bacon
2 tsp Smoked Paprika
2 tsp Chives
200g Butter
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Cayenne
Salt & Pepper
To start, blend 2 egg yolks, lemon juice, cayenne and salt until combined.
You will now need to melt your butter in a pan. Once done pour your now melted butter into the blender and blend once more.
Slice your English muffins in half and putting them in the toaster.
Heat up a pan with oil and fry your bacon for 6 minutes flipping it half way through.
Now Boil the kettle. Once boiled add it to a saucepan and have it on high heat until bubbles appear in the water.
Crack one egg individually into a small cup (use multiple cups for multiple eggs)
With a spoon start to stir the water until it becomes like a tornado, this will allow the egg white to wrap around itself and not break. Add the egg to the water and cook for around 3-4 minutes.
Take your eggs out using a holed spoon so the water can drain out and place on some kitchen paper.
Now you want to assemble your eggs benedict by buttering your english muffin, then laying your ham and egg on top. Once you’ve done this evenly distribute your homemade hollandaise sauce and top with smoked paprika and chives and dig in!
