Crispy, flavourful chips with a luxurious touch: beef dripping, goose fat, and butter make all the difference!
4 Medium Potatoes
50g Beef Dripping
50g Goose Fat
Salt & Pepper
75g Butter
Start by preheating your oven to 180°C.
Add your beef dripping, goose fat and butter into an ovenproof dish and place in the centre of the oven so it can melt and begin to heat up. This should take 5-7 minutes.
Now wash your potatoes and begin slicing them long ways into chips about 1cm wide.
Once this has done your beef dripping, goose fat and butter should be piping hot so take it out of the oven and carefully place all of your chips in the dish. Be careful at this stage as the liquid is spitting hot and can burn.
Once the potatoes are in the dish add salt & pepper then use a spatula to coat the potatoes thoroughly in the liquid, this will add the crispiness to your chips.
Place back into the oven and cook for 45-50 minutes.
Now take your dish out of the oven and begin serving with whatever you desire. Now dig in!
