Deliciously moist banana bread recipe: Perfectly ripe bananas make it a must-try!

Ingredients:
  • 4oz Margarine

  • 5oz Brown Sugar 

  • 2 Medium Eggs

  • 3 Bananas Mashed

  • 8oz Plain Flour

  • ½ tsp Salt

  • 1tbs Baking Powder

  • ½ tsp Nutmeg

  • 3oz Chopped Walnuts

Method:
  • Step 1

    In a bowl, squish your bananas into a pulp using a fork.

  • Step 2

    Chop your walnuts into small chunks.

  • Step 3

    Cream the butter and sugar together in a bowl using a hand whisk, then beat in your eggs.

  • Step 4

    Add the banana pulp and mix together, once combined, gradually fold in the flour, salt, baking powder and nutmeg. Finally, add the chopped walnuts and mix to combine.

  • Step 5

    Spoon the mixture into a loaf tin and bake at 180 for 50 mins.

  • Step 6

    Remove from the oven once it's nice and golden and allow it to cool. Slice the loaf into generous slices and butter them. Serve with a nice cup of tea. Now dig in!.
